MEMBER’S OPEN DAY 2010

On Sunday 28th March, the club members rented the village hall for the day so that they could spend more than the normal 2 - 3 hours operating the trains.

We borrowed the O Gauge Test Track from the Winchester 0 Gauge Group and with that taking up most of the space, managed to fit three other layouts around it. The test rack and the 00 layout, New Barton, were soon full of trains and running continuously.

Two members brought along their own layouts and we had John Bruce’s minuscule 009 layout and our Chairman’ N gauge layout  to even out the various gauge interests.

Everyone agreed that it was a worthwhile exercise and that we would probably do it again next year.
